I'm a 30 year old and consider myself pretty active. I weight lift at least 3 days a week and run/walk the treadmill at least 3 days a week as well. My goal really isn't to acheive a certain weight. I want my body fat down to 12%. If I can do that, I'd be one happy camper!

P.S. Send me your cell number again in email... I can't seem to find it. :(
Guess what, I went from ~211lbs. down to 203lbs. (again!) Lent is working really well this year to my advantage.
Anyway, its called "The Men's Health Hard Body Plan: The Ultimate 12 week Program". I bought it at Barnes and Noble for like $20. I like it because it lays out a weight training program and the diet is not too strenuous. To be honest, I really haven't used the diet all that much. I'm kinda eating well by myself. The weight lifting program they line out is fantastic - that's really why I bought the book. I'm usually pretty sore the next day and that's a good thing. I'm a little behind on the "12 week" thing since we went on vacation and then I got sick but I'm back in the saddle again. I went yesterday to the gym and man, I'm SORE. I've really only been using this book for about 3 weeks but I can already feel a difference.
You really need to sign up at the gym with me - you'll be amazed at what a few weeks of weights will do for your body and your self-confidence. Can't you spare $5 a week?
It's weird how I get cravings for certain foods, but when I eat it, I don't feel good at all. It never seems to taste the way I remember it. This could be my body telling me something? That's my guess.
I have 35lbs to lose, so I better start now, it's only going to be harder later when I start gaining more pounds with age and an inactive lifestyle. :(
